Sita Devi School, inaugurated in 2013 at Paliapattu, educates 55 children (ages 4-10) with a dedicated staff. Following the Indian curriculum, the school embraces a holistic approach, imparting knowledge on hygiene, health, nutrition, Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, and environmental awareness, while emphasizing social equality for a well-rounded education.
Our women empowerment initiatives encompass funding education, employing widowed or divorced women, and promoting girl child education. Through awareness camps, we educate women about their rights and health. Our efforts extend to solving domestic abuse cases, aiding suicidal women, and providing skill development for economic independence, fostering holistic empowerment.
A month prior to Yoga Day, we initiate village-wide classes, fostering cultural and holistic well-being. Daily, we offer free yoga lessons to school kids, intertwining Ayurvedic and cultural wisdom. Additionally, we organize yoga camps in Paliapattu, extending the benefits of this ancient practice to the entire community, promoting cultural harmony. On yoga day we do yoga with kids and live stream it all over the world for people to join.
Our initiative focuses on economic welfare through yoga teacher training. We empower teachers with skills to offer free yoga classes, spreading awareness and well-being. Simultaneously, we provide teachers with training at no cost, fostering economic independence and creating a ripple effect of knowledge and financial empowerment within the community.
